1. About GuestPilot

GuestPilot (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a digital guest experience platform for short-term rental hosts (“Hosts”). Our service includes AI-powered guest concierge pages, local guides, QR code generation, and communication tools accessible via guestpilot.net.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using GuestPilot, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service. We may update these terms from time to time — we'll notify you of significant changes via email.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use GuestPilot.

4. What You Can Do

As a Host, you may:

• Create and manage digital guest guides for your properties
• Use our AI concierge to assist your guests
• Generate and distribute QR codes for guest access
• Send pre-arrival emails to your guests
• View analytics about guest interactions

5. What You Must Not Do

• Use GuestPilot for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on others' rights
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (property descriptions, photos, local recommendations). By uploading content, you grant us a licence to display it to your guests via the platform. We will not use your content for any other purpose without your permission.

7. AI-Generated Content

GuestPilot uses AI to generate property descriptions, local recommendations, and guest responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it is visible to guests. We are not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated content.

8. Subscriptions and Billing

GuestPilot offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using premium features. Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GuestPilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless we are required by law to retain it.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Scotland.
